It’s fall time and the leaves are finally turning colors! Time to pull out your warm sweaters and get cozy. Being away from home as a travel nurse can be tough, but we have some amazing comfort food recipes we would love to share with you. We know how precious your time is as a travel nurse, so all these recipes take 30 minutes to prep or less. All you will need to do is put all the ingredients in your slow cooker, go to work, and when you come back from your nurse shift, your warm meal will be ready for you!

This meal takes only 25 minutes to meal prep and is a hearty meal. If you enjoy tangy beef and flavored with red wine, you will enjoy this meal! This recipe makes 8 servings, so you will even have leftovers to take for lunch when you are on your nurse shift! Check out the recipe here.

When the weather gets cold, one of my favorite meals is eating lasagna. This meal takes 25 minutes to prep and this will leave your mouth watering. Enjoy! Check out the recipe here.

Chipotle Black Bean Chili

If you are looking for comfort food, check out this Chipotle Black Bean Chili recipe. It only takes 20 minutes to prep. This meal is also vegetarian friendly, so if you don’t eat meat, just leave it out!

Do you love pulled pork sandwiches? I sure do! Instead of using pork, substitute the meat with lean turkey meat. This recipe serves up to 6 people, so feel free to invite some friends to come enjoy your meal! Check out the recipe here.
