Special COVID-19 Offers and Promotions for Travel Nurses and Other Healthcare Workers
Here are some of the companies providing special offers and discounts to healthcare workers
We’re living in challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic has left schools closed, businesses shut down, and families stuck at home. Through all this uncertainty, we’re grateful for the healthcare professionals on the front lines, working tirelessly and selflessly to keep us safe.
Airbnb: Waived fees for stays
Airbnb is partnering with hosts to offer healthcare workers waived fees for their stays. This offer is only valid for the first 100,000 stays booked through the program.
AT&T: Three months of free cell phone service
Through its FirstNet Mobile plan, AT&T will provide nurses and physicians with three free months of phone service, for both new and current subscribers. New subscribers are also eligible for a $200 activation credit with the purchase of a FirstNet Ready smartphone.
BP and Amoco: Save 50 cents per gallon
Verified first responders, doctors, nurses, and hospital workers can receive a single-use discount code for use at BP and Amoco sites. The code provides 50 cents off per gallon, limited to 20 gallons.
This offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions, and qualified frontline workers have until April 30 to claim their discount code.
Headspace: Free access to Headspace Plus
Headspace, a mindfulness and meditation app, is offering US healthcare professionals free access to Headspace Plus through 2020.
To redeem the subscription, healthcare workers can use their National Provider Identifier (NPI) and email address or provide their organization information.
Nando’s: Free meals
A valid hospital ID or showing up in uniform gives healthcare professionals a free meal a day at Nando’s. The free meal is Nando’s signature dish: a quarter chicken with chips.
This offer is valid until May 17 and must be redeemed by phone order.
The North Face: 50% discount
Until December 31, The North Face is offering US healthcare workers a 50% discount on certain non-sale items purchased online or in retail stores owned by the company. Eligible workers may also receive a 10% discount on non-sale items at The North Face’s outlet stores. These discounts can be used once every 30 days.
Healthcare professionals must verify their eligibility in order to receive the discount.
